"That's why they call it the American Dream, because you have to be asleep to believe it."

— George Carlin

No integrity, lack of will power, disingenuous morality, fake principles, lastly addiction! have an idea of who I'm referring to? Land of the “free”. A third world country with a Baalmain belt, Good ole America. We often converse about billionaires being evil, greedy, corrupt, coinciding with the fact that our "government" is run by criminals who are in cahoots with the 1%. Facts not fiction. However This article is not about how evil we already know billionaires are. It's about Americans being complicit in being exploited.

Experimentation—> Regular Use —> Risk—> Dependent= Addiction

Americans are addicted to convenience, they're just not aware of it. For instance, I worked as an Amazon grocery shopper. It's insane how many customers use that service to order a singular item. Literally one yogurt cup, a piece of turmeric, a few apples. We were getting so many trivial small orders that Amazon decided to combine customers' orders instead of adding an item limit. Not to mention these singular item orders are not for pickup, but delivery. To their home 30 minutes away. No tip(at least that's what the drivers say). I expected Amazon to make decisions that result in milking all they can. What I didn't expect was the silence.

Now I know a few of you reading this are thinking: just quit your job if you don't like it. I did quit. The job isn't my issue. It's the fact that I've seen the outrage from the public in regard to the 1% not paying their fair share, destroying the earth, capitalizing off nature, exploiting employees. The real question is why do you continue to use their corrupt services to buy a singular carton of yogurt? Is it laziness? Exhaustion? Or complicity? Convenience culture is making people complicit in their own exploitation; They do what they do because no one holds them accountable. They become more corrupt because YOU will keep paying them. With that being said why does the outrage never translate into action?

The average person cannot take on a corrupt militarized government. It'll take a while to dismantle monopolies. But you can keep your money in your pocket. You can choose not to fund the machine that is actively relying on your addiction.

For the record: Amazon sponsored the Trump administration. They are partially responsible for this mess. Those who came before us have to be rolling in their graves. Previous generations sacrificed so much and endured militarized "democratic" brutality from the criminals in charge. They didn't even get to fully bear the fruit of their labor, yet here we are watching their sacrifices be reversed, freedoms they bled and died for stripped away every time Project 2025 checks off another disgraceful agenda.

America is a corporation. Economic withdrawal is one of the few forms of power the people still have yet it is almost entirely unused. No one is coming to save us. Save your money. Save your integrity. Protect your peace.

STAND UP OR KEEP BENDING OVER.
